Privacy Policy

Overview

Agency FTW ("we," "us," or "our") operates the agencyftw.com website. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and otherwise handle your information when you visit our site.

Information We Collect

Analytics Data

We use PostHog (US-hosted) to understand how visitors use our site. PostHog stores a random identifier in a first-party cookie and in your browser's local storage so it can recognize your pages as one visit and tell when you return. It is kept for up to one year. We configure PostHog so that it:

  • Does not track you across other websites
  • Does not identify you by name or email
  • Does not run, and stores nothing, when your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control

You can also remove the identifier at any time by clearing this site's cookies and site data in your browser. PostHog collects:

  • Pages you visit and the referring page
  • Interactions on our pages, such as which buttons or links you click
  • Approximate location (country/region) derived from your IP address
  • Device type, browser, and screen size

If you start a checkout, our server also records the purchase steps (offer, price, and payment, renewal, or refund status) in PostHog, linked to your analytics identifier but never to your name or email. This is skipped when your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control.

Contact Forms

When you contact us through an inquiry form, you voluntarily provide:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • Your message content

Form submissions are stored as intake records and may be routed to our customer relationship and email systems to respond to your request.

How We Use Your Information

  • Analytics: To understand traffic patterns and improve our site
  • Contact information: To respond to your inquiry and provide services
  • Email communications: To send you requested information, confirmations, or follow-ups

Data Retention

  • PostHog analytics: Event data is retained in PostHog per our project settings and is not linked to your name or email
  • Email inquiries: Retained in our email account per standard email provider policies
  • Form submissions: Stored in our intake system to handle your request; contact us to request access or deletion where applicable

Privacy Rights (GDPR / CCPA)

Depending on your location, you may have rights including:

  • Right of access: Request what personal data we hold about you
  • Right to erasure: Request deletion of your personal data
  • Right to object: Opt out of certain types of processing
  • Right to data portability: Receive your data in a portable format

To exercise these rights, use our privacy request form.
